sprint/field training session packages.

unleash your inner
speed.

Speed is arguably the most desired trait for any athlete, no matter the sport or position. If that is the case, then why is hardly any time spent training correct sprint technique throughout all levels and ages of sport?

If your an athlete who either hasn't received sprint training before, or you feel like you aren't being exposed to enough high end stimuli at training, then these sprint training session packages are for you.

THE RESOLUTE ELITE ATHLETE FRAMEWORK

Mastering Speed Mechanics Under Sport Specific Conditions

Developing effective speed mechanics within sport-specific environments is crucial for athletic performance.

While many athletes can sprint well in isolation, the ability to apply efficient mechanics under fatigue, decision-making, and changing game situations is what separates good athletes from great ones. Athletes who learn to control their body position, stride efficiency, and acceleration mechanics in realistic sporting contexts will move faster, react quicker, and gain a consistent advantage during competition.

Ensuring Transferable Power from the Gym to the Field

Developing strength and power in the gym is only valuable if it translates to performance on the field.

By bridging the gap between strength training and athletic movement, athletes learn to apply their power efficiently in real game situations. When strength is transferable, every rep in the gym contributes directly to faster, more explosive performance on the field.

DSC06236_edited.jpg

Exposure to elite speed

The gym serves one primary purpose for athletes — to build the strength and power required to enhance performance on the field. But strength alone doesn’t create speed.

If you’re not regularly exposing yourself to high-end sprinting opportunities each week, it won’t matter how well you develop power in the gym — you simply won’t get faster.

That’s why our Elite Athlete Framework prioritises consistent exposure to top-end speed development, ensuring athletes can express the strength and power they build in the gym and maximise their true speed potential.

If you're to sit down and watch sport on the weekend, you'll often hear commentators drooling over one particular ability.

SPEED.

Whether it's the fastest man on the planet, Josh "The Fox" Addo - Carr, or seemingly the most popular beach sprint champion in the world, Damien Cook, athletes are often judged on how quickly they can move across the playing surface.

Despite the lack of historical data, I am a strong believer that significant enhancements in sports science and associated technology has heavily influenced the development of faster athletes, particularly over the last decade or so. Much is the desire for speed in modern sport that the once revered tall, lanky wingers are being replaced by faster, and often shorter, athletes.

The prime example of this is Corey Oates, an Origin representative, dropped at the beginning of the 2024 NRL season for simply not being "fast enough".

WHY DO MOST ATHLETES NEVER REALISE THEIR FULL SPEED POTENTIAL?
Growing up, I was just like thousands of other kids, watching my heroes running around on the weekend dreaming about one thing, becoming a professional athlete. And just like what seems to be the story of every strength and conditioning coach out there, I just simply did not cut it.

Was it genetics?
Was it my training?
Was it my nutrition?
Was I mentally not strong enough?

Hindsight can be a wonderful thing. Looking back, it there could be arguments for all four of these points. However, what it all boiled down to was I simply just not big enough, fast enough, strong enough or confident enough.

It took me until I started coaching in junior representative programs to fully appreciate the magnitude of the role the aforementioned factors, in particular sprint training, plays in the development and overall success of both up and coming, and elite athletes. I have been very fortunate to be able to work with some amazing strength and conditioning coach across many different elite sporting environments over the years. These opportunities have taught me many things. But one thing I have observed is that sprint training is not getting the attention it so desperately deserves.

Why is this the case?
Is it because of the limited face to face time coaches have with athletes? Is it clashes in priorities or coaching philosophies?

Who knows. However, one thing I do know is that elite sprint training are no longer solely reserved for elite athletic environments. Here at Resolute Strength and Conditioning, you have access to the training you need to succeed, no matter your sporting discipline.

So, if you have an unwavering desire to become the fastest, most agile athlete you can possibly be, then you have come to the right place.

Don't delay your journey to success any longer.

FEEL LIKE YOUR DEVELOPMENT HAS STALLED?

THEN HERE IS WHY

Creating an effective strength and conditioning program is not a one-size-fits-all process. Each athlete has unique needs, goals and physical attributes that must be carefully considered. Factors such as age, training history, sport-specific demands, injury history, and even psychological readiness all play a critical role in program design.

A well-crafted program takes into account the athlete's current fitness level and progressively challenges them to enhance performance while minimising the risk of injury. It balances various elements such as strength, endurance, flexibility and recovery. The goal is to create a holistic approach that addresses the athlete's weaknesses, builds on their strengths and aligns with their specific goals.

By prioritising individualisation, we ensure that every athlete receives the attention and tailored guidance they need to reach their full potential. This meticulous approach is what separates successful training programs from generic routines that fail to deliver lasting results.

Your Training isn't Meeting Your Needs

Failing to train in a way that meets the physiological demands of gameplay can have significant repercussions on an athlete's performance and development. When training is not aligned with the specific requirements of the sport, athletes may experience decreased endurance, strength, and agility—key components that are critical during competition. This mismatch can lead to a higher risk of injuries, as the body is not adequately prepared to handle the intensity and complexity of actual gameplay.

Furthermore, without targeted training, athletes may miss out on opportunities to develop sport-specific skills, hindering their growth and potential. In the long term, this can result in stagnation, frustration, and a lack of progress.

To truly excel and reach peak performance, it is essential to engage in a training program that is thoughtfully designed to mimic the physical and technical demands of the sport. By doing so, athletes can build resilience, enhance their skills, and consistently perform at their best when it matters most.
