THE RESOLUTE ELITE DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK

Core Bracing
Building the Foundation for Force Production
building the foundation for power production
Every movement in the gym begins with the ability to stabilise the spine and transfer force effectively through the body. At Resolute, we prioritise core bracing at the beginning of every session to ensure athletes understand how to create full-body tension and maintain spinal stability under load. Proper bracing allows the torso to act as a strong, stable pillar, enabling the limbs to generate and transfer force efficiently.
Without this foundation, strength leaks occur, technique deteriorates, and injury risk increases. By consistently reinforcing core bracing each session, athletes learn to maintain optimal posture and control during every lift, sprint, jump, and change of direction — ultimately allowing them to express their strength and power more effectively throughout the workout.

Power — the ability to produce force quickly — is essential for maintaining high quality of movement throughout life. While strength allows you to move heavy loads, power determines how quickly your body can respond to everyday demands and is one of the first qualities that declines with age, making it an important qualuty to train to maintain coordination, balance, and functional movement capacity.
Within the Resolute development process, power is emphasised for ensuring the nervous system is able to produce force rapidly and efficiently, thus improving reaction speed, coordination, and movement efficiency. By consistently developing power, individuals maintain sharper, more controlled movement patterns — supporting better performance in the gym and preserving quality of movement in everyday life.
Power Development
strength, speed, and quality of movement

The Resolute Elite Development Process incorporates targeted muscle activation and movement preparation to ensure key muscle groups are switched on and joints are moving through the ranges required for training. This process focuses on activating often underutilised stabilisers such as the glutes, deep core, and upper back while reinforcing efficient movement patterns. By preparing the neuromuscular system in this way, athletes enter the session with improved coordination, mobility, and control.
The result is better exercise execution, greater training efficiency, and a reduced likelihood of compensations or injury, allowing athletes to get more out of every repetition performed.

Liam has been my personal trainer for the past year. I have had lower back issues during this time and he has had no problem with changing any exercises to accommodate this, as well as giving me a program to build strength in the areas needed.
And he’s a lovely guy 😊
Sarah
Superb service.
Highly knowledgeable performance coach.
I had a few injuries and Liam was able to design a fantastic program that helped me achieve my goals.
Highly recommend his services.
John

A LETTER FROM YOUR COACH

realise your true
Growing up, I was just like thousands of other kids, watching my heroes running around on the weekend dreaming about one thing, becoming a professional athlete.
And just like what seems to be the story of every strength and conditioning coach out there, I just simply did not cut it.
Was it genetics?
Was it my training?
Was it my nutrition?
Was I mentally not strong enough?
Hindsight can be a wonderful thing. Looking back, it there could be arguments for all four of these points. However, what it all boiled down to was I simply just not big enough, fast enough, strong enough or confident enough.
It took me until I started coaching in junior representative programs to fully appreciate the magnitude of the role the aforementioned factors play in the development and overall success of both up and coming, and elite athletes.
Around this time, I was also able to realise the vast impact that these training philosophies can have on practically anyone, not just athletes!
This knowledge was ultimately the deciding factor for the name Resolute.
Through all the bells and whistles of your training, through the multitude of theories regarding training and recovery methods, living your best life simply boils down to what being Resolute means: having an unwavering determination for success.
If every action you take, or decision you make is not in service of your dream, then failure is inevitable.
If you don't wake up everyday and think "What am I going to do today to get me one step closer to achieving my dream?", then failure is inevitable.
If you're training is inadequate, or you easily fall prey to the bullsh*t gimmicks thrown around by so called "fitness influencers", then failure is inevitable.
Unlike conventional strength training, which primarily focuses on building muscle mass and power, strength and conditioning takes a more holistic approach. It targets various facets of the human body's physical capabilities, including power, agility, speed, endurance, and flexibility.
Gone are the days where elite strength and conditioning programs are solely reserved for elite athletic environments. Here at Resolute Strength and Conditioning, you have the access and support to what you need to succeed.
So, if you have an unwavering desire to become the strongest, most powerful, fastest, most agile and most mobile person that you can possibly be, then you have come to the right place.
Don't delay your journey to success any longer.
Unlock your potential now.

FEEL LIKE YOUR DEVELOPMENT HAS STALLED?
THEN HERE IS WHY
Creating an effective strength and conditioning program is not a one-size-fits-all process. Each athlete has unique needs, goals and physical attributes that must be carefully considered. Factors such as age, training history, sport-specific demands, injury history, and even psychological readiness all play a critical role in program design.
A well-crafted program takes into account the athlete's current fitness level and progressively challenges them to enhance performance while minimising the risk of injury. It balances various elements such as strength, endurance, flexibility and recovery. The goal is to create a holistic approach that addresses the athlete's weaknesses, builds on their strengths and aligns with their specific goals.
By prioritising individualisation, we ensure that every athlete receives the attention and tailored guidance they need to reach their full potential. This meticulous approach is what separates successful training programs from generic routines that fail to deliver lasting results.
